Zion HealthShare is excited to introduce Primestin Care, the Zion HealthShare Community’s new resource for virtual healthcare. Beginning January 1, 2025, Primestin Care will replace Teladoc and LifeWorks, offering a comprehensive platform for primary and mental telehealth services.
Why Primestin Care?
Our goal has always been to provide exceptional resources for our members. Primestin Care offers an enhanced telehealth experience, tailored specifically to Zion HealthShare members. With unlimited 24/7 virtual access to licensed healthcare providers, Primestin Care will simplify your healthcare experience and provide high-quality care. Members also have access to mental health support and specialized services for families. Some key features Primestin Care offers are:
- 24/7 Virtual Healthcare Services: Connect with licensed providers in your state anytime, anywhere. Services include care for common conditions, virtual urgent care visits, and prescription refills.
- Care Coordination Services: From specialist referrals to health advocacy, Primestin Care simplifies the management of your medical needs.
- Free Mental Health Resources through TalkspaceGo: Members aged 13 and older can access TalkspaceGo for live workshops, meditation tools, and self-guided therapy prompts.
- Mental Health Therapy: For those seeking personalized care, therapy with a licensed professional is also available at discounted rates. For more information, visit Primestin Care FAQ’s.
For children under 13, Primestin’s case management team assists families in locating age-appropriate therapy providers within their network. Services are offered at the same discounted rates.
Who Has Access to Primestin’s Telehealth Resources?
Direct Members: Primestin Care is included at no additional cost.
Essential Members: Primestin Care is available as an add-on with affordable pricing based on your membership tier:
- Member Only: $5 per month
- Member & Spouse: $10 per month
- Member & Children: $10 per month
- Member & Family: $15 per month
This add-on provides Essential Members with the same comprehensive access to Primestin Care’s virtual services.
How Does It Work?
The primary member on the household membership will receive a welcome email with instructions to:
- Download the Primestin Care app to access virtual care, schedule appointments, and manage recurring needs like prescriptions. The app will guide the member through setting up their account, adding additional users, and using the virtual services.
- Download the TalkspaceGo app for access to mental health resources, including live workshops and therapy tools. Follow the prompts on the app to set up your account, and enter code: PRIMESTIN to instantly connect to these resources.
When Does This Transition Happen?
Primestin Care will officially replace Teladoc and LifeWorks starting January 1, 2025. The previous services will remain available through December 31, 2024. Members currently using Teladoc and LifeWorks should transition to Primestin Care by January 1, 2025, to avoid any interruptions in care.
What Else Should You Know about Telehealth with Primestin Care?
Primestin Care is designed for non-emergency medical needs. In an emergency, always call 911 or visit your nearest hospital. There is no limit to the number of times you can access virtual care through the Primestin Care app.
